Re: Playoffs

I was very surprised the Eagles didn't let the clock go down to 2 minutes.

Re: Bowl Season

The difference between Alabama and Notre Dame’s performances was plain to see. Alabama had 440 yards of offense but sputtered in the red zone and it cost them the game. Notre Dame had 240 yards and never had a chance. Not seeing the difference is just ignorance About as ignorant as pollsters who th...

Re: Bowl Season

Sadly, what happened to my Irish(losing) is exactly as I had predicted to my Clemson fan nephew/sister. I had hoped, thought at least it could/would be closer. Surprised and bummed at the outcome. It was a beat down. We certainly didn't look as if we belonged in the final four, but, am wondering if...

Re: Chicago Bears 2018

Anyone who threatens Parkey or his family on social media, etc. should be prosecuted. It is a freaking game! Someone I saw on social media mentioned they should try and have him leave the stadium the same way the Cubs had Bartman leave. The difference was Alou jumping up and down like an idiot, bas...

At least the Bears players won't miss the Pro Bowl in Orlando.
Why is this game even played any more? Does anybody here actually watch it? I believe the last one I saw involved Walter Payton.
I haven’t watched it in probably 10 years.

Yet the D gave up the lead late.

Here's the rule explanation for the catch/fumble:

Image
The best part is, he is never wrong in the booth ref didn't know the rule. He seemed to still think the refs were wrong after the rule was brought to his attention.

Anyone who bet Texas is now getting 30 points.
Could be good start to 2019 for those lucksters.
I thought Georgia scoring would fire up the defense but the Georgia tackling has been horrible. I still think Georgia will win the game.

I could see Hoiberg or Donovan. Hopefully, Alford never works again.
I agree with you on hoping he never coaches again.

The over under for this game is 80. Alabama might score that on their own.

Targeting penalties are killing ISU vs. WSU game. Second one in particular was ridiculous.
I agree! I don't blame the coach for getting the flag thrown on him. That was an atrocious call. Then after the announcers say very little about the hit, support the call after the player was ejected. :(

Re: CFP Selection Show Thread

Georgia at 5 is a joke. The media bias has been insane this year. Kirk Herbstreit has really been over the top with his politicking for Georgia not only to be selected but to jump Notre Dame. His whole “eye test” theory would have the games that were played effectively rendered meaningless. Hell, l...

2 loss Georgia can't be #4. Would be curious to see them play UCF.
I agree with you on Georgia. I thought I read somewhere they thought UCF would play Michigan, with Ohio St going to the Rose Bowl.

How long will that fake punt haunt Kirby!!!! I’m not sure UGA doesn’t stay #4 although I’m not sure Nick and Co. want to play the Dawgs again anytime soon. I actually wish they would put UCF in so any of the other 3 could humiliate them and put an end to all the “Give is a chance” whining Auburn su...

Cubs pickup Torres from Yanks ( no not THAT Torres ) and send LaStella to Angels. Think this seals fate of Russell .... I’m curious on which direction you think the Cubs are going with Russell. I think the Cubs are going to offer him a contract tomorrow. With this move Torres backs up Baez.... even...
