I hope this is what they’ll be able to do with some regularity in the years ahead.

Re: Brian Wardle's tweet

Wardle is right that Twitter is a place for performative interaction as much as anything. At least it seems that way to me. Brown has his point of view and is more than qualified to state it, having played for him for 4 years. However, from what I can tell, Wardle doesn’t put that many comments out ...

Re: "Way Too Early" ... snub

Totally understandable from an outsider perspective. We lost 3 starting Seniors from our team. Most don't know about incoming talent, so losing 3 Senior starters is a big deal if you don't follow the team closely. Loyola returns almost everyone and finished 2nd this year. UNI returns most of their ...

You’re right. My bad guys.
FunchessonPopcorn might want to rethink his quote. ;)
I don’t even want to explain what my mind did there.

If Funchess doesn’t stick with me, we have some serious issues.

Boy, they aren't even going to be fielding a D-1 team next year...

If Vegas set the line for their total number of Valley wins next year at .5, the under might be the better bet there.
Sounds like it may be Murray State.

And who may replace Forbes at East Tennessee State: https://twitter.com/GoodmanHoops/status/1255833815144181766 He’s paid his dues. He and Forbes took a hit for Pearl, and have proven they can coach at some tough spots since. I think Tribe, or someone on the board, had some familiarity with Shay fr...

Re: 2019-20 DI Hoops Coaching Carousel

Looking at some of Forbes' info online, I didn't realize he was an assistant in the Valley a couple different times. He was an assistant to Porter Moser during Moser's first season at ISU. He was then an assistant with Marshall at Wichita State during the two 30+ win seasons the Shockers had this d...

So is anyone watching anything good on the tele Agreed on The Last Dance. Caught up on Better Call Saul - so good, but if you are struggling with world events might be a little dark as you get further along. Caught up on The Chef Show - this is light viewing, and I get some ideas for cooking from i...

Between JoJo, this guy, and Gabriel the trend that emerges is that Wardle will cut you loose if you push him to that point, even if you can play a bit.

Re: 2020 MVC Recruits and Transfers

Evansville signed a grad transfer today - Jax Leviticus, a 6’7” forward from UNC-Asheville. Only averaged 1 point, 2 rebounds last season in 21 games. His intangibles must be off the charts! Yeah, you've got to wonder what Evansville is thinking when they add a fringe player from a bad team in a le...

Re: Signed, sealed. . .

I’m optimistic about both of these recruits. If you get shooters, you want to make sure you can ensure you have a playmaker on the floor at all times. They tend to play off each other very well, but if you have one without the other it’s much easier to guard.

I think it is unreasonable to wait until the risk of getting the virus is 0% before we open things up. From what I understand if the R rate gets below 1 we can move forward. It doesn’t need to be zero. Yes. It’s an uncomfortable question to discuss, but there is a balance between lives lost and eco...

I truly think schools are going to gravitate to regional matchups much more frequently. There will be a belt tightening everywhere, and one way to manage costs is to reduce travel. It will also be practical from a health perspective in handling the possibility of additional waves coming. Just might ...

Re: Welcome Sean East!

I’m pretty excited about this recruit, I will admit. I like the video, but I get that was probably about all his FG makes. He shows some quickness on the video, but he also showed some clever moves at times. More than anything, though, I am just seeing the 4.9 assists that weren’t on the video, alon...
