Re: Mid-Illini

I will be out of town and hate to miss it. Hope somebody can post updates. I predict the Panthers will win this one. The Birds still have a starter out for one more game. Panthers #3 will dominate. Wont even be close unless Kennell gets hot.

Re: 2016 BU Recruiting and beyond

Does Bradley have any interest in Nate Kennell (Metamora). He pumped in 52 points against Westinghouse tonight. His 3-point shooting was unbelievable. He needs to stop driving the lane against 3 defenders tho....might try passing off once in a while.....Its supposed to be a team game.

Re: Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament

I was not at the Macomb games this year. The Birds fans Ive talked to say that the championship game officiating was bad, especially with regard to the way they treated Heath compared to Kennel. Ive been to every Metamora home game for the past two years and have not seen Greives as upset as he appa...

Re: Mid-Illini

It's not about the talent of the Meta sophs. Go ahead and keep ripping them. The point is good coaches don't just jump ship just because they may think there may be a lean year or two. To suggest they should just leave is ridiculous. I never suggested the coach should just leave. Dont misquote me. ...

Re: Redbirds vs. Panthers

Washington will win this one big. The Birds game plan will be "get the ball to Nate", even if you're open. Panthers coach is one of the best, and Nate will be double-teamed, and the rest is history. Good call. :XXblah-doh2 Yeah, I was right again, as usual. If you look at the Birds scoring, it was ...

If I was the Birds varsity coach, I might be looking for another job in a couple years. Looking to me like the Birds program is going to take a serious hit based on what i saw with the Sophs both against Morton and Washington. I hope this is a joke... Re: Mid-Illini

Just a shell of what Panther fans are used to seeing out of their team. No offensive flow, missed layups, no defensive intensity (except for last 2 min in desperation). The bench gave us nothing but turnovers and fouls. We can contain and beat highly touted teams but allow Metamora to score 69 pts....

North (new)(small) gym. Always like it when the school has to turn away fans because the "new" gym is full. Too bad someone with the money couldn't have stepped up when the new additions hit financial constraints and the gym size was cut. I wish they would play this game in the old gym which seats ...

Railers sure could use the services of Conrady, who transferred to Rochester to play football. The 6'6" tight end scored twice in Rochester's win last night. With everybody keying on Block and the inexperience of the rest of the team, someone will need to step up. Transferred? Im assuming his famil...

The truth is what one poster said earlier, parents will move their children/athletes to any district that fits what they want athletically, whether it be private or public. Metamora and Geneseo have had great programs for a long time and it looks like Rochester is moving in that direction. None of ...
