Re: 2017 BU Recruiting and beyond

Luuk's not leaving. And I agree with tribe that Bruninga doesn't fill a need, and that Stipanovich likely has a similar skillset and higher upside. I could see this kid as a walk-on possibly at Illinois. I know Bruninga pretty well. He will not be walking on anywhere. IMO Bradley will not be an opt...

Re: 2017 BU Recruiting and beyond

He is 6'7"(maybe 6'6"). I never saw Chastain play. But I thought he was supposed to be a great athlete. I don't think that is Bruninga's strength. He is more of a shooter. I would think of him more similar to Crouch or Kennell. Hard to say because he plays small school competition. I am borderline ...

Re: Possible coaching candidates?

John pelphrey former head coach at Arkansas now assistant at Florida. Working under a coach like Billy Donovan is enough for me to hire. Gets the most out of players. Only issue is we'd have to pay him more than we are currently paying geno

Re: Mid-Illini Conference

The mid illini has such a good group of courses they could use for the conference tournament. Pekin has Lick Creek, Washington/Morton have Pine Lakes, Limestone I'm sure could host it at Coyote Creek, Canton Country Club is a nice track from what my dad has told me, Metamora has Metamora Fields, Ea...

Re: National COY Candidates

I think at this point Marshall or Donovan are the most deserving of Coach of the Year. Marshall's undefeated season speaks for itself. Donovan was 8 points away from having a possible undefeated as well. Lost on buzzer beater at UCONN and lost by 6 at Wisconsin without 2-3 key players early in the y...

Re: Braves 2014 recruiting

I am a townie that only took 4 classes at Bradley. I went to SIU. My senior year I had two classes left to finish to get my degree. I moved back home. I took a finance class I needed one semester while I worked. Then I went to take my last class and was told by Bradley I couldn't take it because I ...

I could see this possibly being Graham's last year on the hilltop. From the games I've been to this year Chin and jaden have done more hands on with the players when getting subbed out.

Re: Bradley @ Illinois

Ray Rice was awesome in the MVC, and I remain shocked to this day that our staff at the time didn't bother recruiting him out of HS. I would think that between us and Drake we would have had a good shot at landing him. He remains a very good player. Boy wonder was too busy trying to land donovine S...

Re: Bradley v West Va Wesleyan - Line and O/U

Swopshire is definitely a redshirt candidate at this point if he can even still redshirt. I want to say in the past if you played in both exhibition games you couldn't redshirt but i could be wrong. Lets keep in mind with swopshire was ineligible for highschool due to transfer rules for high school ...

This would have been a game we lost with the previous regime but different story with geno. At least we dont have to live old saying "We hang our hats on defense" anymore.

The problem for pross is he's 250 and slow. That's what always catches up to him come valley time. I think his minutes will 10-15 by the 10th game.

Re: Golfing at Metamore Fields-Ugh!

If you could read I said a course LIKE Lick Creek up here in PA would run you $50+. I never said Lick was $50+[/quote] Sorry misread what you were saying. Yes, Weaver, coyote, and metamora would be 50+ anywhere but central IL. Not quite sure about pine lakes or quail as if they were located outside ...

Re: Golfing at Metamore Fields-Ugh!

It was not that we didn't like the course. It is wide open most places, which I like. I just think that it could be managed better to allow faster play. Weaver Ridge and Lick Creek are much more demanding, but still not a 5 hour round, even on fairly busy days. Rounds at Weaver can come close to 5 ...

Re: BU's Financial Results ...bumbling and troubling

Tribe: I wish it was that simple.....the problems at BU won't be resolved in an meaningful way with just some more success in BBall. What did the program generate revenue wise in its best years ...the Sweet 16 year...two MVC teams reach Sweet 16? And I don't think JG really been any positive change...

Re: Mike Shaw Commits to Bradley

What happens next if Hamilton,Delaney and Blake all want to sign with BU? Which of our returning players would be odd man out. Got sick of the TOB. But I'll take all 3, just need to somehow lose one more player. Welcome home braves2011! :!: :td :shake Thanks.... its feels good to be on the good boa...
