Unless there's some sort of event at 63, no idea why we couldn't go there before the game. If there was an event there, I don't know why they wouldn't just be honest about it.
Porter reserved it all day so we couldn't go there before and so that he would have somewhere to cry after the game.

Loyola

So first it gets announced that Loyola is not give Bradley any extra tickets this year. Then Bradley Alumni just announced on Instagram that apparently "venues near the arena aren't available" to host a pre-game party. I don't know if I've ever wanted to win a road game more that this one after seei...

Re: Child’s, Linke, Hannah, Boya, Mast

Hannah isn’t a post player. I mean, I don't diagree with you. But he is literally listed as a center on Rivals. I understand Rivals is Rivals, but (honest question, because I'm sure you've seen more than him than I have), do you expect Hannah to get minutes at the 3 with EC at the 4 and Mast/Boya a...

Re: Ville

I think Ville will fill Nate's role next year very well. He will most likely get a little bigger/stronger and improve his defense and ball handling just like Nate has over his four years. I really like when we have both Ville and Nate on the floor at the same time. Having those two snipers out ther...

The first time he drives into the lane, throw his a** to the ground. Set the tone early that this game isn't going to be like the one up in Cedar Falls. He was 8 for 8 from the line in that game and hasn't missed a FT in the league yet this season. Intentionally fouling him and getting a flagrant s...

Re: Mo.St.

Time to get a game plan ready to try and slow down AJ Green. I would find a way to be extremely physical with him. I know there's been an emphasis on it and ya gotta be careful, but if he comes through the lane, give him a bump to disrupt his run and the timing; if he comes into the lane on a drive...

I still think winning at MSU is a long shot, especially since they just got pantsed, but we're nearing that stage as a program where you're going to be in nearly every game.
agree.... long shot but just give yourself a chance.
KenPom and WarrenNolan both have us as the favorite.

Updated with Southern. Largest crowd of the year to date. Which is saying something considering I'm sure the weather kept some people away. 14 wins in a row at home puts Bradley at 8th in the country for longest current home win streak. Beat Missouri State on the road and we are going to see the bi...

Re: Childs Surgery

I think UNI may have had a chance for an at-large bid if they finished the Valley season with one loss and lost in the finals, but that loss needed to be @Loyola, @Bradley, or @Drake. I think the @ISUr loss ended their hopes for an at-large. So you think if UNI wins out until Sunday and goes 28-3, ...

Re: Childs Surgery

This was a major FU by the coaching staff to bring back Eli so quickly. This early season conference games are not must win games as much as we like to hype them. The MVC is a one bid league. Just win the **** tournament which means let Eli fully heal. The team (it is a team sport) was playing well...

Bradley lost at their place in OT last year after turning the ball over 30 times. Take the over in this one. Bradley 88 GA S 80 This is not the same Georgia Southern team as in the past. We need to win this game by double digits. Kenpom has Georgia Southern at 134 and projects Bradley to win by 4. ...

St Charles North got added to Peoria Notre Dame's schedule as well. Ironically enough, the game is scheduled in Peoria the night before Evansville comes to Bradley.

Convenient timing.

I remember that game against the Illini. One of the only times Maniscalco was useful. Clutch free throws but an UGLY game. I believe I was at EP B-Dubs and the place was packed with BU fans. I think the opposite. I see a drubbing and i just cant see this team playing with purpose when they will likely be way behind the entire game. Watching last night's game was the most painful Bradley sporting experience I can recall. I remember some games in the late Geno, early Wardle era that made me want to gouge my eyes out. But last night's was certainly one of the more disappointing. What with all the hype and expectations. Good news...

3 days in March can’t wipe out 2 decades of mediocrity. It should have made somewhat of a difference. This team deserves more support and a better more vocal crowd at home. Per BeBrave’s attendance thread the opener was up around 1,000 over last year and at this point in the season compared to last...

Important side note - my Roku/ESPN+ finally let me pause the game (which it hasn't the past 2 games) and let the WMBD radio feed catch up to it. I fed it to my sound bar and it synced perfectly, creating basketball nirvana.
This is the most important note of the entire thread.

They just beat Kentucky on the road. 26-7 and seems very within the realm of possibility. Ive seen enough basketball to not bank an entire season on one game. Sure, they're probably better than an 8th place team in our league BUT I'm not certain I see 20 wins, let alone 26. They basically play 7 gu...

Losing to a MEAC team at home ('sup, Loyola) makes this a net negative day for the MVC :joker :joker :joker Ok maybe not, but this won't help all that much unless Evansville specifically wins Arch Madness. Re: I wonder how much it would cost

I went to a college game on Saturday that didn't have a big, long intro video on the scoreboard and the game seemed to go off without a hitch and the players seemed to be excited to play. Who knew this could happen? But did they have a t-shirt cannon? We don't even have one anymore, apparently.
