Re: Bradley's depth 19/20 season

BradleyMathGrad love it! In simple terms I believe realfan and I are splitting hairs. Probably are, jeez got lost half way thru that long explanation. Must be because of my old age  I tried to break it down as thoroughly as I could while still explaining everything...but yeah, I fully em...

Re: Bradley's depth 19/20 season

There are (i believe) 353 Division 1 teams with 12 scholarship players for a total of 4,236 athletes. In theory, the turnover rate should be 1 out of every four years, but some people leave early and some stay for 5 (or sometimes 6) years, so for the sake of the argument, we will say that if you div...

Re: Bradley's depth 19/20 season

Last year we saw a few defensive minded teams go deep and UVA winning it all. What those teams also had in common was taking care of the ball. Bradley was ranked at 130 for TOs last year and I'm betting we improved over the season. The difference was when we took DB away from being the primary ball...

Re: Bradley's depth 19/20 season

Yes, he's the one recruit who always showed well on video and might have the most potential of any new player in a long time. Time will tell if he fits in and stops switching teams. Sometimes the well-traveled just need a little structure and stability in their lives. Let's hope Steph is one of tho...

Re: Non-Con Released

Sets up well. With an easy roadie at Valpo in between homies against MSU and Loyola, the conference title race should go through us, with the big matchups at our place late. There's no such thing as an easy road game in the Valley. Valpo will be much better than expected. Pretty sure they will be c...

Re: Non-Con Released

The conference schedule was released. Both games against ISU are on Wednesdays. https://twitter.com/bradleyumbb/status/1168933451774537731?s=19 Jim Les thinks the Valley office screwed Bradley again. This schedule is perfectly fine besides the fact that both ISU games are not on Saturdays. Nothing ...

So do power 5 schools.
Ja'Shon would be at Gonzaga if he was 6-8.
the Zags like taller centers then 6-8.
Please see Clarke, Brandon.

Give me an undersized power player. I'd like a slightly taller player with JH energy and attitude.
Too bad Henry was not 6-8. I like 6-8 or 6-9 centers that are mobile and tough.

Re: Ville and Mast

Ville has shown he can really shoot the ball. I’m wondering if he might be a surprise this year, time will tell. Yes he can shoot it well. Can he defend at this level? Not really worried about his ability to defend...if he can shoot it at a good clip he will have value and we will find a way to hav...

Re: Bradley's depth 19/20 season

I still say play and start your best players regardless. Wardle tends to substitute players in and out pretty quickly in the first half. I thought NK played better last year coming off the bench and being that true 6th man that could score. Regardless I like Henry's game and he can become a great 2...

DB DK KB EC NK JH could push for a starting spot but when you look at our bigs you have to worry about foul trouble. Bringing JH off the bench gives you some protection. It should be very hard for a freshman to start on a veteran team that expects to compete for a league title.
Hopefully he starts day 1 then.

This is the time of the year I think about an early commit. But we don't have a lot of rides so it doesn't have to be early. Does anyone know when Child's and Stipanovich commited date wise?
I know Childs commited at least in the fall because i remember following him throughout his senior year.

Not sure if Boya will be much of an impact as a sophomore. I see him definitely leading the team in blocks and possibly rebounds as a junior.
Please note that this will be Elijah Childs senior year.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Bradley offer incoming Metamora frosh Ethan Kizer (2023) soon. I'd heard about and seen video of this kid. Not sure what he'll become over his remaining high school career but BU would be foolish not to offer him immediately and keep close tabs on him. He still h...

Media relations. I honestly don't think Wardle gives a S**t about the media and I like it that way. Re: Bradley's depth 19/20 season

Boya was a little bit of a fish out of water last year, but that had more to do with not being able to practice and missing the non-con. That's huge, especially for a frosh. I think Boya and Bar will be this season's pleasant surprises. They both looked improved in video I've seen of them. Bar is a...

The staff was on that one as well early. They followed up continuously and were told it would arrive on time. Unfortunately when dealing with two governments you don’t always get the truth. What else you got? All I'm saying is...they weren't on it early enough apparently. That being said, I have no...

Have you figured out yet that this staff does their due diligence before making these decisions. Wether it’s foreign kids getting cleared or transfers they put the work in in advance so there are no surprises. I'd be a lot more inclined to agree on this if Koch Bar hadn't gotten left behind when we...

Suggs may surprise some. He got a lot of PT at Mizzou last year and, as a grad transfer, will be immediately eligible. He will help make the Salukis at least competitive in Mullins' first year and only ties up a scholarship for one season. I think he's an excellent late pick up for SIU. This late i...
