Re: The Washington Panthers
I'm sorry, but this is comical. Guys transfer every year and just about every single team has multiple transfers in their starting lineups. I didn't see Ruffin turning down Justus Harvey when he came knocking on the door. This stuff happe...

Look at the coaches staff hard
I am 100% positive it is not Brown or E. Are you alluding to travel ball connections? I saw DSE speak at WCHS one time speak to an audiance about how hard a decision it was to come to Washington. He said he lost many friends. His primary reason was he felt WCH...

Crystal clear except I don't know who is bringing them across the river. I'm not aware of who is across the river all over the young kids.

Re: The Washington Panthers

Who's your pick to fill the hole?
I would take Walters and Fisher off the sophomore roster and make them full time Varsity. Add them to the mix and rotate everyone until you find the right fill. My wife and I were talking a couple weeks ago about who the new leader would be next year. We ha...
It certainly looks like he's happy to be back  It's got to be nice to be back after sitting out for so long. Adding RDW could make Manual dangerous in the postseason. http://www.pjstar.com/sports/20170124/manuals-rom...

Re: Manual get anyone back yet?

People think scoring a lot means a player is great, but making every player around you look better is the true sign of a great player. The kid is a Division 1 player for a reason.

Brackets fair? Absolutely not. Why stress? 4 teams will make it to the Peoria Sectional, but only the best team will advance to the DeKalb.

Writing is becoming clearer on the wall

Well, we knew we would have some real struggles this first year, and the Delaware game was a real bummer, as I had that one circled as a win  . It is becoming increasingly clearer to me which 4 of these freshman are keepers. We must keep the top 4 & let the rest go in order to take advantage of...

Lol, If he was my kid, he would have been playing for nobody but coach Mathews from the start. If I had my wish come true, Richwoods admin would lure Mathews to the North side, that would change the game of basketball in Peoria.

Re: BU v Edgewood

We couldn't make layups, 10 footers, 15 footers, much less 3's, we couldn't handle pressure, we couldn't pass, we couldn't make good basketball decisions (bad bball IQ), etc...... Why? Because we didn't have basketball players, we had "athletes." We looked the part walking in to warm-ups, then once ...

Hopefully for his sake he'll play more than a couple games this season You can count on it. I talked to AJ at the RiverPlex about 2 weeks ago. He said being at Manual for a year practicing most of last season, and playing with the team this Summer, he knows the system, players, coaches, and it's a ...

Re: College Prospects top 8 regardless of class

It's really not fair for the other schools that Manual has 3 D-1 kids on one team. I don't think the IHSA should let the Youngman kid play at Manual. He doesn't belong there. And that would be fair because? He doesn't belong at Manual because? I'm not a Manual fan, and see no problems with it. Over...
