Re: Valley Tourney Seed

Also, can we talk about our team finding a way and staring at a 92% chance at finishing top 4 without arguably our best all-around player for most of the league season? 75% to finish top 3. This. We played 10 conference games without Childs, our MVP, and we are talking about finishing 2nd or 3rd in...

Re: 2020 BU recruiting and beyond

I want a wing that can shoot plus a point guard because we definitely have enough front court players. Why the Knock on McAdoo? Not to speak for ER3 but McAdoo put up uninspiring numbers at Eastern Michigan. His profile there shows a smaller shooting guard who shot it just ok and didn’t do much els...

Re: 2020 BU recruiting and beyond

I love the offer...I just don’t see a ton of minutes for a wing available next year. McAdoo Nolan Kingsby Ville Sometimes Henry Thomas McAdoo/Nolan/Kingsby/Ville are all going to be logging 20+ minutes a game. Depending on the matchups sometimes Henry moonlights as a 3. I don’t see many minutes for ...

We already have 3 6’9” players committed for next years class (Linke, Hannah, Mast) to go along with Child’s, Boya, and...

Missouri St is frightening right now. Deepest and most talented team in the league is finally starting to play like it.

Wednesday is going be a problematic game for us. MSU can completely overwhelm teams right now.
And teams are sprinting to play Indiana St in St. Louis....

So, so angry about the result in Rogers Park last night. I'm not buying what Loyola is selling, yet they're likely to finish ahead of us again.

Oh well, will just have to ruin their dreams in the semis again this year.

Re: Braves at Salukis

Really, one of those blocks wasn't a block that had any impact. He was the second defender and got s hand on the shot after somebody else did the real defending. Koch was terrible today I guess what does Koch have to do to have a ‘good’ game? If 9 and 11 today with 2 blocks isn’t good, what is? If ...

Re: Braves at Salukis

This game means about as much for them as it does for us. Agree. This is their Super Bowl, especially Ronnie Suggs. A win today and they get the split they need and likely finish ahead of us in the standings. A win for us today all but assures us of finishing ahead of them, and very likely top 3. A...

I only have memories of exhibitions and Red/White games at the Fieldhouse. Cried when it came down and swore that JoJo would have to go for tearing it down. Most of my memories come from the PCC. Some of my favorites that I was in attendance for were just about every ISU game pre-2009 (the one game...

I heard Kendall Gill on the Score say he wanted to go to DePaul but his recruiter Jim
Platt showed little interest in him. It doesn't seem like it is super hard to recruit. Some people just don't have it. Name from the past.
Did Kendall include the part where Platt said we can’t afford you?

Last year the Braves avoided 0-6 and started the historic season turnaround in Carbontucky. This year I think it’s an absolute grinder with a hot crowd, but the better team wins. That’s us.

Drake has lost 4 of 5, their only win in that stretch at home against us.
Good for them that they caught us at probably our lowest/most fatigued point of the season. If we played them Saturday in Des Moines with Eli we win.

We just might win out.

Imagine how good the Sweet 16 would have been had we have actually known how to fix and use JC? The most talented team in 25 years still screwed up the best shooter in school history. Kind of amazing. The first game the following season against DePaul was JC’s “eff you” game. I’ll never forget him p...
