Re: Pandemic thread

Goodness gracious. The new Dumbest Man on the Planet award goes to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. He said he just found out in the last 24 hours that asymptotic people can transmit COVID 19. Do they not get any news in that state? I have many family members currently living in Georgia. Let's just say...

The New Metamora Varsity Head Football Coach:

Jared Grebner

Here's what I'd love to see happen with Jared as HC.

Herring: OC
Dentino: DC

IMHO, that would be a dream team of coaching. :)

Corona Virus Lighter Side Of Things Thread

Disclaimer: I realize this is not something to be taken lightly. People are dying, people are obviously getting sick, people are losing $$$, etc., etc.,etc. I am in no way trying to minimize any of that. Just thought a thread to lighten things up a bit about it might be fun. One of the only good th...

Re: Corona Virus

People need to stop comparing this to a seasonal flu. This virus has a much higher contagious rate and death rate at this point. But I am confused on a few things....it's fine if they want to suspend sports events but here in Chicago the subways and buses are still running and multiple other places...

Re: Corona Virus

Here's a glaring example of why this over reaction is so ridiculous. So, the IHSA in their infinite wisdom has decided to limit spectators to 60 per school. Thus limiting exposure. Brilliant. Yet, the Pere Marquette, as I understand it, has said they're setting up a big screen to show the games in o...

Re: Corona Virus

That was my point last week and earlier today that it is fear dictating these actions. I’d say it’s common sense and decency So are movie theaters, malls, public transport, etc. being being indecent by remaining open? Going to a game is no more risky than going to Wal-Mart. You are in a place where...

Play, yes. In front of 60 fans for each team.

I really thought for a second the IHSA wouldn't fall into this fear monger trap. Oh well.

Re: Corona Virus

Of the worlds population of nearly 8 billion people, less than 150,000 people have gotten the virus. This with it starting in the most heavily populated country in the world. Oh and the average age of those dying from the virus is 80. So yes, the dangers of this virus is being blown out of proporti...
