Re: How will Covid-19 affect the seson?

I don't think so much will depend on the availability of a vaccine so much as treatment. But the bigger question to me is the how contractible it is to those who already have the antibodies. If there are different strains, that is a bigger question to answer. I just read stories this morning about ...

Both Brummett brothers are heading to NAIA William Penn in Iowa. Amir will be playing football.
Seems like maybe he shouldn't have followed bro's or dad's advice.

(Thats not to say he would have ever completely cut it at Bradley)

Re: what are you doing

I myself feel like I have been busier than ever in certain aspects of the business while the travel has subsided. But surprisingly, without the travel, I have found much more time in my schedule to exercise, golf, shoot some hoops, and use a good friends indoor batting facility (sshhh don't tell any...

Re: 2020 Transfers

Right now the Valley has three really good teams and then there's everyone else. Robbins leaving Drake is a huge blow. I wonder what happened. Makes me proud to be with Bradley and our family. Guys like Eli and Darrell could have easily done this after their Soph years, but they didn't. Drake now h...

Re: Welcome Sean East!

Can he shoot the 3? If not what makes him better then what we have? Glad to have depth at the guard position. 32% last year so not great, but one article I saw said he was more of a spot up shooter in high school so some room for improvement. Just the fact that he is 6'3 and can get to the rim and ...

Can he guard the 5? 😀
Surely this is part of an elaborate joke from previous pages, but he guarded 2s and 3s in HS.

I heard a rumor that we're returning to the Phil Collins well again next year with 'I Can't Dance" in honor of this year's team.
I heard similar but it was ‘Dancing in the Dark’ by The Boss. Might be a fluid discussion?
Dont forget the timely hit 'Dancing With Myself'

Re: Welcome Sean East!

Right. If Umass is bringing in better players then him God Bless them and they will be an NCAA Team. That is my thought. Can't imagine UMass is in a position to be running off a guy that was top 10 in the A10 in assists and a top guy in the country in assist percentage. He also put up 9 ppg in a pr...

Re: Welcome Sean East!

Gotcha, I thought you were doing some deep investigating. But sometimes the reason a waiver gets granted goes hand in hand with the reason for the departure I don't know man. Trying to figure out waivers and why they are granted based on what the NCAA thinks and does is almost as exact of a science...

Re: Welcome Jayson Kent

BU has one more scholarship to give this spring. A combination point/shooting guard, possibly a Division I transfer, is the target. /\/\...... This......... since it’s out there for Reynolds..... My only concern here is that it seems we are putting an awful lot of eggs in Ari's basket to step up an...

Re: Welcome Jayson Kent

Tall shooter, late bloomer, underrecruited. Maybe Andrew Warren? BW has done a great job finding these types and developing them in to quality contributors, some in to all-MVC caliber players. Can always use shooters! I think he's similar to Warren, just not as athletic. He seems like the kind of p...

Re: 2020 Transfers

JFL is not hiring an agent, therefore he retains his college eligibility. He’s just testing the waters and will likely be back next year. I don’t know...I think he has a shot at getting drafted. Seems like a 2nd round type, late bloomer. I personally want the league to be as good as it can be and I...

Re: 2020 Transfers

Surprised at the number of transfers still happening with all the uncertainty right now. Summer is going to be nuts between spring high school recruiting, transfer hosting, and the normal AAU recruiting season. At the mid to low level, its just really bad right now as far as transfers. I read an ar...

Re: 2020 Transfers

Hopefully they can’t..... :D Agree, why would we want those teams who are rivals to get good players. The Valleys chances of getting at large bids anymore are slim, we continue to win Arch Madness and get auto bid which to me is the only thing that should matter to us. I want the league to be reall...

Curious of everyone's take on what the more intriguing hire is:

- Jeter at Western Illinois
- Yaklich at UIC
- Korn at SEMO

(Not as local but out of left field) - Drew at Grand Canyon

https://twitter.com/hoijim/status/1244013794482950144?s=21 That was bad luck for ISU. Both guys had ability. In the end it’s probably a plus for ISU. Obviously its a plus. Re: NCAA Tournament Thread

So much for going to follow the team and see them play somewhere... At this point it really makes no difference where they play or who they play, the d-mn thing has lost all of its luster. I feel the worst for schools like Hofstra that haven't been in so long and their fans can't even now attend. Th...
