Re: Airing of Grievances

Do you think the players would rather play in front of 4,500 at the Ren Col or 6,500 at Carver Arena? Where are you putting the close to 8k that came to the Drake game last year? In a couple years, that type of crowd shouldnt be considered an outlier, it should be considered the norm! Already hit o...

Re: Gonzaga

I’ve seen some people say Ren Col isn’t big enough for all the fans that want to go. Then the same people say no one would go to games there because the parking and traffic is bad plus all the “big time” donors who said they won’t go to games there. So it’s not big enough for the people who aren’t ...

Re: Gonzaga

The Peoria metro area deserves a new, modern arena. Carver Arena needs to be gutted, or raised and rebuilt. Therein lies many opportunities for both the city and university to benefit. Except the city is broke and looking to tax nonprofits to make up for their woeful budgeting capabilities..... The...

Re: Braves vs. EIU

Game tomorrow. FINALLY! Time to get excited. Hopefully these 11 days off have provided an opportunity to get healthy, do some internal scouting and detailed film breakdown, and get some things tightened up (or maybe loosened up) for this 3 game Valley warm-up. We're as healthy as we've been all yea...

Re: Gonzaga

Why must we be limited to comparing Bradley's situation to Gonzaga and Villanova? What about two other private university's of similar size, that are in Midwestern cities of approximately the same size, and play in off-campus arenas? I'm referring to Creighton University and the University of Dayto...

Re: Gonzaga

Everyone who goes to Gonzaga games are 36 year old small business owners. Parking isn’t an issue because they all ride their bikes or kayak to games in Spokane. That’s how they can pull it off. Bradley’s “problems” are unique to Bradley. No one else has any of these issues. Wrigley Field, plenty of...

Re: Gonzaga

Quite frankly...who cares what those donors say? Obviously you wouldn't care as its not your *** money that they are playing with here. This is a stupid argument as like many have said, its not only not fiscally viable, its not structurally viable as to make it a realistic thing, you'd basically ha...

Re: Gonzaga

Don’t kid yourself. A) those donors are bigtime only in their own minds B) they would still go to all the games. No one has really actually answered the question. If Villanova can play 10 games a year on campus and Gonzaga chooses to play on campus instead of a 12,000 seat city arena why is Bradley...

Re: Airing of Grievances

Discussions centering on playing at the RC ; I do believe it will happen in the next 10 years because of an old declining fan base. Just not by choice. Ugh. Everyone will have a smaller penis then too. :D And ultimately that will be needed to facilitate a move. Can you even say "penis" on here. :ro...

Re: Gonzaga

It is a shame that the previous administrations (not sure timing wise how much blame gets put on Broski v. Glasser) missed the mark on the RC arena area. All the plans for the on-campus arena were developed between 2004 and 2006, with the plans announced in August 2006. Glasser wasn't in the pictur...

Re: Ongoing opponents thread

Isu blue was up on at 12 minute second half mark at home to Truman State by 1, sycamores won by 8. Nice to see my Alma Mater hang with a Valley program. Truman is actually coming off the best stretch in school history (5 straight 20 win seasons and back to back NCAA D2 tournament appearances)so the...

Re: CFP Selection Show Thread

If you believe UCF would be ranked 8 if the playoff was 8 teams, I have beachfront property in Dunlap to sell you! You're OK excluding over half the teams that play college football from even having a chance to win a national title. That's fine to think that. I disagree with you because no other sp...

Re: IUPUI

I am terribly disheartened by this team effort and result. May be the worst loss in the Wardle era, because our team looked lost and disorganized from the opening tip. There was no flow, no continuity, no rythym at all. And the refs did not cause that. Hard to get any rhythm when the refs take it f...

Re: So far

Agree 100% . Three short years ago we were the biggest dumpster fire in the league. We're getting better (much better) but I don't think we are at the point where we can look down our noses at anyone yet. I think losing to UIC proves that. I do think BU is on it's way to bigger and better things th...

Congrats for winning the title. Lets not get carried away with this as we need to play better especially making free throws when the game is on the line. We finally won a tour. that we were not suppose to win. Defense was outstanding .Childs MVP was well deserved. As Coach said, winning and still h...

Re: Braves v Penn St Nittany Lions - Wed 730 PM CST

Eli’s stroke is looking better from the outside. He’s hit a few in this tournament. Hopefully that gives him confidence, but not too much that he relies on it too much. Just enough to keep defenses honest. That will be HUGE when Boya comes back to open up the lane and an inside-out game.

Refs letting them play a little more tonight it seems. DLO on the bench again with 2 fouls. When Stevens is not guarding Eli he needs to get the ball on every possession. The other guys can’t guard him.

Re: Braves v Mustangs - Tuesday 5 PM CST

My dad texted me saying Jank wouldn’t shake Wardles hand after the game? I stopped watching after they called the timeout after hitting the 3 to cut the lead to 13 with 25 or so seconds left.
