College Football Week 3

Post by Bluejaygrad03 » Sat Sep 14, 2019 10:31 am

Among the top games this week include Iowa-Iowa State and Clemson-Syracuse.

With the in-state schools, you have Illinois hosting Eastern Michigan, ISU at EIU in the 108th Mid-America Classic, Montana State at WIU, UT-Martin at SIU, and NIU at Nebraska.

Just flipping, landed on k state v miss state. Interception. Offensive man TOTALLY initiated helmet to helmet contact and it's just ignored. Somebody explain the rules of this game.

There's a bit of central Illinois flavor in that one. Jacardia Wright from Decatur St. Teresa plays RB for K-State.

For the third straight year, Eastern Michigan wins at a B1G school. 2 years ago, they won at Rutgers. Last year, they won at Purdue. And today the Eagles defeated Illinois 34-31.

Hard to not feel good for them. The Citadel beats Georgia Tech and breaks 22 game loss streak to ACC opponents

Rocky Lombardi. Is that a football name, or what?

Final score in Charleston: ISU 21 EIU 3

EIU falls to 0-3 overall. The Panthers return to action next Saturday at Indiana State with kickoff set for Noon. ISU improves to 2-1 overall. The Redbirds return to action next Saturday at home vs. Northern Arizona with kickoff set for 6:30 PM.

One interesting note on ISU's schedule for this year is that the Redbirds only play 2 games outside the state of Illinois the entire year and the first of those games doesn't happen until November 9th when they travel to South Dakota State.
