A lot of talk about a couple strong Elmwood-Brimfield players have chosen to quit...any confirmation?!

Numbers are way down, 50's I believe. A few years back they were in the 70/80 range. Freshman classes may be small but that would not explain all of the drop. I believe several upperclassmen are no longer playing. Reason?...do not know. Concern about injuries, perhaps, but I have not looked at turnouts across the area to see if numbers are down overall. Perhaps lack of interest in an offensive that is not real imaginative..Prairie Land is pretty weak conference so they will probably be O.K in regular season.
