. Knowledge is priceless. Contrary to some opinions it's never to early to learn about potential postseason opponents. Teams in the CS8, Mid-Illini, and Big 12 with their geography likely will meet up in the playoffs. Finding out as much as one can seems like a no brainer. The same principals hold in the smaller class thread.

I don't agree with a lot of what you post on here but this I agree with.

Always interesting to see what is going on at other central Illinois schools and like one poster said, some of these schools might eventually be playoff foes. It seems that the overall numbers at Southeast, Jacksonville, and Springfield high as listed are decent. Usually your top flight programs like Rochester have strong numbers but I like to see how the numbers are at mediocre programs....I was wondering with all the stuff the last few years like concussions and lack of interest how the overall varsity numbers are at various programs. ....

Chatham is definitely one team I will keep an eye on this year.

On another note, the Sangamo is going to be really fun this year. IMHO, 5 teams could win that conference.
I'm no President Trump fan but thank you sir for your comments in regard to the NFL and those protesting our nations anthem. You were spot on!!!

I'm pretty sure I know of about 3 teams you're thinking of (Williamsville, Maroa-Forsyth, and Athens). Who would be the other two?

Auburn I can see that. Plains definitely has the momentum going after their run last season though they admittedly got a little bit of a soft path towards the state title game.

I could see myself seeing a Sangamo game weeks 1, 4 & 9.

Week 1 and 4 I'm pretty sure of which ones you're talking about. Week 9 would be...Maroa-Forsyth at Athens?

Week 1 ... Athens @ Williamsville
Week 4 ... Auburn @ Pleasant Plains/Williamsville @ Maroa
Week 9 ... Maroa @ Auburn

Week 9 is the one that really interests me. Have never seen a game at Auburn.

Gotcha. Auburn's stadium is right along Route 4 so you can't miss it.

My bad on who Maroa was playing that week. The Maroa-Athens game is actually Week 5. Though I'm guessing you may be busy that week too.
