My understanding is it will be next summer. Too bad track expansion isn’t part of it.

Surprised they're aren't two vomitorium exits. Interesting there's only 1. Also, at the top of the sections next to the press box I'd have a decently sized platform. Great for folks who wanna stand or nice to have extra space for filming and such.
I'm no President Trump fan but thank you sir for your comments in regard to the NFL and those protesting our nations anthem. You were spot on!!!

Guessing they will have to take out the first row of parking along the fence. If so, that will mean even less parking once the 12th Man auctioned parking spots are coned off.

Was told it will cantilever over parking lot. No spots lost.

Been gone for over a month. Footings are in and ready to put up. Like everything else, rain has put a delay on things.

Quite a bit of drainage work has been completed in addition to foundations. Curbs and storm inlets to catch water running off parking lot have been installed. Much needed

Washington Times Reporter says the new bleachers are expected to be up by July 29. The new press box goes up within 2-3 weeks. Seating is 2,500.

The old press box on the visitors' side will be remove and replaced by a platform with fencing. A tent could be put up over the platform if there is bad weather. Seating is 1,600.

School starts August 14.

The new bleachers are moving along at a rapid pace.
They are impressive. Will there will be walking access underneath the bleachers at the top of the hill? I would hope the next stadium improvements in the near future would be the renovation of the east side restrooms and concessions.

Am I looking at this picture correctly. If your sitting at the side of the press box, your line of site would ***. I looked at pictures I took today and still see the same thing.

It does appear that way. Since the entry doors are on the backside I assume there will be walkways on either side to get to them. Possibly that moves those seats far enough out that the view isn’t blocked? I would hope the designers took that into consideration.

Looks similar to Metamora's bleachers that were installed a few years back.

Same capacity (2500) as home bleachers at Metamora. Looks like Malone’s are higher w/steeper grade but Babcook version is a little longer.

The other big difference is the front of the Metamora press box is covered with signs for all the State Title Game appearances :D

2 questions, how was the 7 on 7 today and was there lots of leg room in the new bleachers?
