‘20 MI

Post by Ripple Effect »

I know talking about the ‘20 hs football season may be a futile exercise but here we go. Wondering who the favorite is to win the Mid-Illini. I know my Panthers have very few returning starters. I wanna say two on offense and four on defense. A tough non-conference in Sycamore and Kankakee Sr.

I don’t believe there are any stand out teams. I will say Pekin at the top. Perhaps Washington second.

I just hope for a season. Heck, I’m not sure basketball will happen. Perhaps I’m being to negative.
Sooooooo close to our only perfect week with perfect dual tie-breaker point totals of all time. U sir are a freakin' genius!!! :smart ... :salute ... :notworthy

Pekin’s Sr class will be decent. Their incoming soph class is the best group I’ve seen at Pekin in a long time.

I think you’re right.
I wonder about football.
I think there’s basketball although it may be with a limit of immediate family members only in attendance.

IHSA is attempting to allow some student-coach interaction. It appears all regions in Illinois will transition to Phase 3 on May 29, 2020. This would permit non-essential groups of 10 or fewer to gather. IHSA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee (SMAC) put together some guidelines for schools to follow based on CDC and state health department information. These guidelines have been approved by the IHSA Board of Directors and are awaiting approval of ISBE and IDPH.
