IMO Potters need to do what they do best, run the ball in second half. That’s what got us here.

.Kays lead 35-7 in the fourth quarter. A very fast aggressive defense is hard to run against. It will be interesting to see the stats on that stud rb for Morton.

Kid had a great season and post season when that statline is below average.

I am sure that no one ran for 186 yards, yet alone ran a kickoff back against them. They weren’t overly big, but they were quick and swarmed the ball . We don’t see that quickness in the Mid Illini. They were as good as advertised.

Just saw on a Jim Mattson Tweet that Glatz had 204 yards rushing, plus the 95 yard KOR. If that is accurate, Glatz finished the season with 3,268 yards rushing and 47 touchdowns.

First 186, then 204. Give it a couple more days and more film review, and he’ll be up to 250, lol.

Let the guy that found the extra rebound for Mast look it over.

I'm pretty sure that it's less nefarious than that. The original number came from the Journal Star reporter. I think Mattson got his numbers from the Morton staff. Either way, the kid had a good day.

To my previous point, Adam Duvall (PJ Star) Tweeted this:

@SethGlatz
left his mark on 2021. His record-breaking season - 3,255 yards & 47 TDs - ended in the Class 5A semifinals.

The 47 TDs are indisputable, but apparently his total yardage for the year is either 3,255 or 3,268, or somewhere in between.

Yeah, I was just joking around. He was a fabulous player.

I had Glatz for 186 yards. Morton's stats had him for 182.

He finishes the season with 3,246 yards.

It's on whatever channel the CW is on your cable system. It's on 25.3 for those watching over the air with a digital antenna.

Quick google search indicates it may be on channel 2 if you have MTCO in Metamora.

Best college stadium close to Chicago that gave enough $$$ to the IHSA?

Hmmmmm, what am I missing?? I have made it to a game at NIU for NIU and high school couple times past few years, other than covid year of course. Dump, awful??? It's a great place to watch a game. Easy to get to, lots of parking, easy access around the stadium, plenty of restrooms and concessions, have the all purpose building for teams to warm up ......

Curious to hear your thoughts y'all.
If you're a Metamora Redbirds fan, and love all the new "Metamora Redbird" banners promoting not only Metamora Football, but the Metamora Redbirds, make a point to thank Cory Nelson. :shake

Honestly NIU was probably the best alternative in odd numbered years like this.

With the success that ISU had been having in recent years, Hancock probably wasn't going to be an option.
