For those of you that finally got a chance to see him, I wondered what you all thought of Rochester QB Nic Baker. I know his start wasn't impressive but he had a great year.

And believe it or not, he didn't get his first D-1 offer til this past week when he got an offer from SIU.
Honestly, I was more impressed with the Morris QB

I thought he threw a tight spiral, threw hard and delivered it pretty accurately. Made some nice runs. Conference player of the year. Very impressive team leader. State champs. Nuff said.

Bradley won, the Blackhawks won, Lake Travis, TX won, and Lincoln-Way East won. It was a good day.

Another Thanksgiving tradition is over as Loyola seemingly outplays their opponent in a championship game only to find a way to avoid winning. :td
I favor capital punishment. But there are alot of cases where I don't think capital punishment applies (parking violations) and cases where it should be applied (murder, child molestation, illegal HS football recruiting).- BirdWatcher

Until a Rochester QB has great success at the next level they will have the fight the impression that they are nothing more than system quarterbacks. The same was said of Pekin quarterbacks in the 80's and 90's.

I thought Wes Lunt had a chance at being a good college quarterback but his lack of mobility was an issue and his accuracy was never what it had to be to compensate.

I would guess the concerns on Baker and the lack of D1 offers are more about his lack of size than anything else.

Very Proud of the Redskins they had there chances a few missed plays a few missed penalties!
That was a great game and the Morris players never quit. I thought they were the better team. That being said, even though he seems to have a lot of haters on these boards, Derek Leonard has built a program that consistently puts a winning team on the field. I thought the coaching and play calling from his side of the field was the difference Friday night.

And that is what the biggest issue with him is. He's only 5'9''.

He was good. Mobile, and had nice pocket presence. Nice arm strength.

He threw 2 passes that should have been intercepted. If you want to beat a team like Rochester, you have to make those plays when the opportunity is there. Morris just didn’t make quite enough plays to win.

I was more impressed with #6 for Rochester. That dude is a playmaker.
