After looking at things this week, it looks like Peoria, Washington and perhaps Dunlap may be pushed up to 6A. If it wasn’t going to happen this year, it certainly would’ve been in 2019. It will be nice to play different teams.
Sooooooo close to our only perfect week with perfect dual tie-breaker point totals of all time. U sir are a freakin' genius!!! :smart ... :salute ... :notworthy

.Steve Soucie from the Herald has been doing postseason projections for years. Here is his opening (and very early take) on some brackets of interest. This is still quite fluid and many changes are still coming. But one has to start somewhere.

6A .... Lower "South"

#16 Springfield H.S. @ #1 Oak Lawn (Richards)

#9 Crete-Monee @ #8 Rock Island

#13 Lemont @ #4 Sacred Heart-Griffin

#12 Dunlap @ #5 Chatham

#15 Peoria H.S. @ #2 Washington

#10 Perspectives/Leadership @ #7 Bloomington

#14 New Lenox (Providence) @ #3 Kenwood

#11 Hindsdale South @ #6 Normal (Community west)

5A.... Lower "South"

#16 Joliet Catholic @ #1 Hillcrest

#9 Hyde Park @ #8 Mascoutah

#13 Vocational @ #4 Cahokia

#12 Rich Central @ #5 Marion

#15 Rich East @ #2 Metamora

#10 Carbondale @ #7 Evergreen Park

#14 Peoria (Notre Dame) @ #3 Highland

#11 Decatur (MacArthur) @ #6 Morton

Looking up Evergreen Park out of curiosity. They are the strangest 4-1 team I have seen

The game against Richards, a projected 6A school, sorta throws ya off a little bit.
