Dunlap 14 Morton 13

Morton really stepped their game up on live stream on nfs network. Nice lay out different camera angles and in HD.

Morton’s pass defense is terrible. If the dbs would at least look back they could make the play. That last Dunlap TD pass should have been intercepted. Thrown short and inside. The receiver caught it at his waist.😕

They are the worst you will see in HS. And with Donald hurt this game is probably over.

Donald looked like he hurt a rib. Sat out 1 series and came back on both sides of the ball. Morton made some adjustments in the 2nd half but just came up short, literally and figuratively! A great game and a good tune up for both schools heading into the playoffs.

Donald sat out for a couple of series in the first half with what looked like rib issues after a hard hit. He came back and toughed it out but didn’t have any big runs after that and seemed to be favoring the ribs. With Donald not being a factor Morton couldn’t score enough to overcome their poor defense. Dunlap coach tried to help Morton. With Dunlap up 28-21 they had a 1st and goal at Morton 1. After 2 runs for short yardage on 3rd down they threw an incomplete pass. It was 4th and goal on the 1 at the left hash. Dunlap tried a FG that was blocked and returned for TD tying the game. Of course Morton defense couldn’t stop Dunlap and after a TD and 2 point conversion it was 36-28 with a couple minutes to go. Morton drove and scored but official ruled The 2 point conversion an inch or two short. Crazy game.

Hall had 2 fingers taped on his non throwing hand. Any metamora fans know what happened and if this is why he did not play last night.
