. The NFHS Network is not showing the Washington/Crete-Monee game. Are any radio stations carrying it?

Facebook on the visitor side will have it. They can’t go on the home side. Won’t be the usual good view.

Wash 21-14 at half.

Sterling scores ten in final 5:40 to win 10-7, including GW FG on last play.
I favor capital punishment. But there are alot of cases where I don't think capital punishment applies (parking violations) and cases where it should be applied (murder, child molestation, illegal HS football recruiting).- BirdWatcher

C-M seems to have some speed! Too bad, I was hoping to see Washington go all the way to the championship game... :( Interesting that C-M lost to Morris in week three. Also interesting that back in the late 1970's, I actually dated a girl that went to Crete-Monee high school - lasted two months! :D

Let me guess...after two months she realized the only shirt you would wear was the one that immortalized the Stamper Scamper? :td

Penalty was for a facemask, not holding. Took away any chance the Panthers had at the end of the game.

Usd, how did the elmhurst IC team put such a whipping on Joliet? Derek Leonard said that their next opponent is pretty tough, and only lost to IC by a TD, and so it looks like the remaining teams in 4A are all tough teams, as they are in all divisions. Just wondering how jca got running clocked that day, and shut out, to boot.

Pretty darn good year. You have to play your best football this time of year to advance and unfortunately yesterday wasn't the A game. Penalties at key times and a couple of ill timed fumbles really doomed the effort. Sometimes, the other team gets the credit for making the plays when they needed to. They did.
Congrats on a great year!

No real explanation other than it was 12 weeks ago and JCA is playing like a different team right now. IC is a very good team, and everything seemed to go wrong for JC that night and it just kind of snowballed. JC had just lost it's #1 running back the week before and was searching for its identity If they played now, I think the outcome would be much different.
