Only One Left...

Post by CIS » Sat Nov 10, 2018 10:53 pm

Only one downstate team left in the top four classes (5A-8A) and that would be Sterling. They will probably be gone after next week. Eight of the sixteen teams left in the top four classes are private schools. Actually if you take the top five classes there are ten private schools left out of twenty teams. Not trying to start anything, just stating facts. I am surprise that there is only one downstate team left in the top four classes...

Don’t count Sterling out, they just played lights out defense against a perinial catholic school and only allowed 37 rushing yards and no TDS in the game
I think Boylan is a better team or similar to Montini and Sterling has a good shot to win!

We've had a few politicians think that way but I digress

I hope it’s for all our sakes, I get tired of the same olds heading to the final game, I would be rooting for any one in the Mid Illini to beat Montini, even Pekin! Lol
