2015 IHSA Boys State

Post by illini25 » Thu May 28, 2015 8:55 pm

Great weather for today's action. Lots of area players still competing.

It looks like Hinsdale Central is getting team title again. Both Ross brothers of Lyons Township undefeated but both LT doubles teams dropped 3rd round matches.
This is imported Italian nylon and it's a special edition limited silk print and it was done by this really famous design artist.

Singles semifinals were the best high school tennis I remember seeing.

Joyce (Hinsdale Central) over Alex Ross (Lyons) 6-0 4-6 6-4.

Gianni Ross (Lyons) over Grabill (Hinsdale Central) 6-3 3-6 6-3.

Joyce has placed 4th, 1st and 2nd in previous years. Grabill was defending champion and had won doubles title 2 years ago.

If Joyce and Ross win in Kalamazoo, a couple local players will have competed against players in this year's U.S. Open. :D
