FINALLY gets his first D-1 offer and it is from Eastern IL. Great school both my kids graduated from there. I do hope he gets many more offers though.

This is imported Italian nylon and it's a special edition limited silk print and it was done by this really famous design artist.

Haven't heard that but apparently SIUE can be added to the list of schools showing interest in him as of today.

Per verbal commits, I count about 12 schools interested in him, 4 of which are non D-I.

I have heard he is going to make official visits to MVC schools: LU, ISUR, and UNI with maybe a few more. We are missing the boat. Today he finished 5th in the Mr. Basketball award. I would like to see us offer bring him in and red shirt him next year so he can bulk up a little. We have so many coming back with experience I think we can start redshirting one each year like UNI does.

It is just my opinoin, but Taylor might play baseball longer than he does basketball. He will be better in 5 years in both sports. But he is a pitcher

If assistant coaches in the bottom half of the valley and below saw him and don't think he's good enough some folks need fired. Taylor is solid with a nice upside.

According to PJS, he is not on BU list, although other 3 other schools in MVC are. Of course BU coaches didn't see an upside to Peters nor Bisping and they had pretty good careers at Mid Major schools.

I'm sure BU staff has no opibion on Taylor because he was never seriously pursued.

He wasn't pursued because

A. They already have a commitment from Elijiah Childs, who is a very similar player
B. They did not have any available scholarships

Now I know an extra one became available when Suggs left, but BU used that on a combo guard, which is not the position Taylor plays.

Taylor is a good player and I'm sure in other years, Bradley may have seriously pursued him, but it is not fair to compare his recruitment (or lack thereof) to BU's recruitment of Peters and Bisping because the previous staff obviously made many mistakes in recruiting. So far, I don't see those same mistakes being made.

Sometimes, the numbers just don't add up for scholarships/positions of need.

I agree with your sentiments. But I don't think Child's is similar in any way. he is much more of a power player.

I do think Luuk VB and Stipanovich are somewhat similar players to Taylor. I hope he makes a decision soon and doesn't wait on Illinois to offer. I hate ISU, but if he likes them and they have now offered a full scholarship he outta go there or UNI. A bird in the hand.

He won't play at ISU period. Just look at Mullers players. Taylor does not fit the mold. I'd venture to say that he might even fit better for The Illini. But He is a perfect fit for UNI. The type Ben Jacobson loves.

This has always been my thought. Unless he doesn't like the school they are the proper level school, with a style that fits him. Nothing basketball wise to not like.

He has to replace Hawkins and McIntosh. They were big and physical. As long as he recruits these type players, Taylor will get very few minutes. Mullers style of play is not the same as Jacobson. Only my opinion of course.

Hawkins was physical? He attempted over 150 treys, 2nd on the team to Paris Lee. ANd Hawkins wasn't big. Just tall. Kind of like Taylor is.

Muller has seen Taylor like 6 times now. He must think he can play at ISU or why recruit him so hard?

ISU has a good team returning even with losing MM, TH, and PL.

I'd bet Taylor redshirts as he'll need to get much stronger...similar to Michael Finke at U of I.

Not to mention Yarbrough will come off redshirt and will compete for a majority of minutes at the 3 and 4.
