Good article on possible rule changes. I'd really hate to see a shot clock, for a variety of reasons. It's hard enough to find someone willing (and able) to run the regular clock and scoreboard, let along know when to reset the shot clock; plus there's the extra cost of buying another piece of equipment. Strategy-wise, you'd just see more emphasis on defense and end up with a lot of desperation threes. Scoring might actually go down.
The arc under the basket is probably a good rule and might help with congestion/contact right under the basket.
Resetting the fouls each quarter is puzzling. Won't that just add more contact, if a team knows they have X number of fouls to give each quarter? Or will it be like women's college basketball, where every foul after 5(?) in a quarter is automatically two shots?
Video replay would be ok for super-sectionals and state where it could be mandated and be high-definition, but considering the quality of most video in the regular season, wouldn't be very helpful.
