Kentucky Mandates Masks for P, 1B, 3B

IMO every infielder should be required to wear a mask. It is not a bad idea for outfielders, either, especially at the younger levels where the fields can be rougher and bad hops can drill them just as well.

I favor capital punishment. But there are alot of cases where I don't think capital punishment applies (parking violations) and cases where it should be applied (murder, child molestation, illegal HS football recruiting).- BirdWatcher

Most of the infielders in the high school games I see wear masks, or at the least have mouthguards. As hard as the ball is nowadays and as "hot" as the bats are, I think it would be a good idea to make it a Federation rule. Don't think it's necessary for outfielders, at least from the games I see (granted, not that many, and only at small school level.)
