Hello CIS, I wish I could give exact records. Although I have followed results pretty close all year. So the following is only a guess of standings with 2 games left. Maybe other fans can help.

East Peoria 11-1
Washington 10-2
Limestone 9-3
Dunlap
Canton 5-7
Pekin
Metamora
Morton

Thank for the information. What has happened to Metamora and Morton softball? Both were pretty good programs, especially Morton or am I wrong?

What has happened to Metamora
Metamora's starting pitcher, a Jr., suffered a season ending injury before the season. Been pitching a freshmen/sophomore combo all year. She doesn't get hurt, a much dif. outcome for the Lady Birds'. Not only lost their ace, but, a very good hitter.
I'm no President Trump fan but thank you sir for your comments in regard to the NFL and those protesting our nations anthem. You were spot on!!!

That's too bad - injuries *** for the individual player and team, especially an ace pitcher in softball. Hopefully she recovers and has a great senior year!

So when was the last time Morton didn't win a conference game in a season. I don't see the program turning around any time soon. There seems to be little or no interest in a feeder program.

After I posted the feeder program note, the high school softball coach announced an upcoming clinic for girls 4-6 grades. That is a positive sign!
