This Is How Good Washington Is...

Post by CIS » Tue Dec 06, 2016 6:39 pm

Geez, talk about a program that is miles above other local schools....Pekin has 5-2 record, beat three decent teams last Saturday, Normal, NW and East Moline while losing to Moline by just three points. Pekin beat fellow MI second place contender East Peoria 57-15 last week. Washington? Pekin won ONE match...ONE and lost 61-6 or something like that. Pekin will probably finish second in the MI, maybe third but was absolute NO match for Washington. Looks like the Panthers will sweep through the local schools with absolute ease while contending for state again...

Helps having a world bronze medalist. Plus they raise money to travel to wrestle the best teams in the country. Either later this week or next I believe they are going to Ohio to wrestle some top teams in the country in a tourney

Pekin won four matches on Saturday to go to 9-2 for the season. Wins included Belleville East, Collinsville and Mahomet-Seymour.
