Round and round we go.

Do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior Brian Wardle?

I'm sure he won't be allowed to practice with the team.

I wonder what it was this time - did he tell a teacher to GFY again? Did he steal another cell phone? Push another girl down the stairs? Skip a few court dates? Fail another drug test? Or maybe he's added something really cool to his catalog of bad that we don't even know about yet!

Muller is weak and doesn't have the nuts to launch this guy. Although it is kind of fun to have a legitimate bad person on a rival to hate on. Usually you have to manufacture "dirty player" reasons to dislike a guy. Milik makes it easy by actually being a criminal and a genuinely bad human being.

Always a traffic incident with this guy. I'm sure a mistake. He'll be in uniform on January 23 at Carver, that's a 'book it'.

Maybe he will have to start kneeling for the anthem to protest all of these 'mistakes' by the ISU/Normal PD.

The suspension and arrest haven't been confirmed to be related. Im going to go way out on a limb and say I'll bet they are
Thanks J.J. for what I consider sound advice!

I mean Jamar Smith nearly killed a teammate and left him for dead, and he still played again. This is nothing for our favorite Redbird.

Wouldn't "it's being handled internally" cover that?
Clearly, nobody with the authority to do anything about it cares enough to actually do something about it.

I would be shocked if he missed more than one exhibition game. When are the Normal police going to stop harassing this young man?

From the Pantagraph: https://www.pantagraph.com/sports/colle ... 724.html#1

Yarbrough was arrested Tuesday night and released Wednesday morning on a $1,500 bond on a charge of failure to provide information and render aid in an injury-related accident.

According to a Normal police report, Yarbrough's vehicle allegedly struck a woman at 2:27 a.m. Sunday as she stepped into the street in the 300 block of North Fell Avenue. The woman was treated at the scene for injuries to her foot and elbow.

The incident was administratively closed until Tuesday when two passengers in Yarbrough’s car reported the possible hit and run to Normal police. Officers arrested the ISU player at 9:44 p.m. on the misdemeanor charge.

So if he was on 12 month court supervision for reckless conduct in May, is this a violation of court supervision? that could be serious trouble.

I agree, in fact there should be NCAA rules in place to punish the offender as the schools pretty much do nothing if the said player is one of the teams star players. A hit and run with injuries is a felony, the injured party should sue the player and the school for allowing this to happen as this guy has broken the law so many times and not been really punished enough for his poor behavior. The coach, school and player are all at fault for allowing this to continue over and over.

The time line would suggest he more then likely was driving under the influence which is why he fled the scene.

I don't think it's clear he was driving, or at least they don't have enough information to say that outright. Maybe that is the distinction.

I can see that..... my counter would be like armed robbery. 3 guys rob a bank..ONE guy had a gun... the other just a bag to grab the money and the third guy sat in the get-away car all three get same armed robbery charge.

You have 3 guys in a car and it’s involvec in a hit n run... nobody cops to driving all three should be charged.

To me it’s irrelevant. The guy is a piece of garbage but he could murder someone and Muller would suit him up. So until he’s dismissed completely from ISU, this is fun for us to laugh at but largely meaningless.

2 passengers in the car reported a possible hit n run incident... so it HAS been called a possible hit n run by 2 people. He’s been accused of failure to render aide to an injured person.....

Armed with that info i’m discussing a hypothetical with Squirrel.... “ if what happened is true......”

You got one poster stating he was probably drunk... you got others labeling him a piece of garbage.... from the initial post in this thread people are deamonizing the kid ( rightfully so IMO ) and you single me out for responding to another posters thought that they probably don’t know who was driving.
