He’s a gunner. What a class! You heard it here FIRST!

Your link said guard while the one I found said small forward. I guess he can play both.

He’s here this weekend. If you see him, welcome him to America and congratulate him!

Already making national news.

The real question is: Can he finish?

He can finish, he can play. Played at the highest level in euro and was a stand out. This will be a big get for BU, looking forward to seeing him play!

Can someone call Da Coach or Tornado so they can get it up on the other board. I am sure they will say they knew it before anyone else and just wanted to see if the rest of us could figure it out!

I really like what I've seen of this kid in a few videos I've watched. He seems to have a high basketball IQ, moves well without the ball, can handle the ball, drive the lane and Finnish (pun intended), and he appears to be an excellent shooter/scorer. I'm not sure who he reminds me of... Perhaps a smaller version of early 70's one year Brave Marcel de Souza?

He has a quick release and plenty of range on his shot!

2nd leading scorer in all of the U18 FIBA Championships this summer. Pretty impressive.

Pretty impressive that he was the 2nd overall PPG leader in the entire Euro 2018 U18 tournament!

For comparison, the 3rd leading scorer in Euro 2018 was Filip Petrusev, the Gonzaga commit and 76th overall 2019 recruit

It is really hard to tell without seeing much of him.But I would think this is our best recruit since Child's. Others may have really high poential. But I would think this would be someone who gets heavy minutes early in his career.

I see a very Euro game - high skill level, high basketball IQ, great shooting. Filled up the stat sheet against competition far superior to high school. Very good size for that position. Addresses a need we seemingly have every year, and looks like a gunner/combo shooter type we haven’t had since Jeremy Crouch. JC is the best comp in just about all facets. The perfect complement to the uber-athletic Big wing (Gabriel) and the playmaking PG (Thomas). All in all, a GREAT fall haul.

I would call him a shooting guard that can play the 2 or 3 position. Appears to be that good outside shooter we have needed in awhile.I would like to see us finish this fall recruiting off with a 6-5 or bigger wing that is also a good outside shooter.

Yep. Seems to be the steal-type of player that really good Mids that go on March runs typically have. Verbal Commits does not list any other offers...so super kudos to the staff if this guy just became available and moved quickly. I also wonder if the staff had leads that they were pursuing during the summer tour, and this is the fruit of that labor.

Finland used him at the point...I love that we're building depth in guards that not only can score, but can actually run the show.

Hmm, surprised this one was questioned. I thought of Ari. I wasn't sure. I am told he is good. But have never seen him. I like Gabriel as a recruit. But I thought he was all potential and would need quite a while to become a finished product.

So, I didn't think Gabriel would be in the same league.

Looks like a pretty good class so far. I wonder where the connection was with Finland.

Once he’s here I’m going to have to wear my Teuvo Teravainen Blackhawks’ sweater to a game.
