Right-don't over think this. Chin is valuable because Josh and even X are intriguing potential transfers. Also, he can facilitate access to players. If it's a higher level school, the quality of those Irvin Fire guys improves. Keep in mind there are some high major impact Fire guys out there, too. That is what he brings to the table.

Oh, you mean the Lovett kid that hasn't even taken his ACT yet because he probably can't find the building in which to take it in?

Yeah, I'm sure that will work out well for whomever lands him.

IMO with these 6 leaving and another 6 only on scholarship (Plus 1 walk on) for 1 year it can be used as a good recruiting tactic. Could actually use it to Bradley's advantage. Here is my angle on this.

Coach doesn't have to recruit 1-2 guys each year to fit into what he already had from a former coach and hope he does well. He can go out and recruit guys and have a young team this year that can grow and develop all together in 4 years. He in a sense has a blank slate to work from. Lots of coaches would love this coming into a program. At the end of next year, going into the next year once the seniors graduate, 92.3% of the team will be players he recruited. That means in 2016-2017 we can judge him for what kind of recruiter and coach he is because most of his team will be players he recruited (12/13 players).

Obviously he doesn't want to fill his roster with 6 freshman because then in 4 years you will have 6 seniors and presumably 7-8 juniors with no youth to develop.

Maybe we can win the lottery and he will recruit 6 ESPN top 100 players and we will be a force next year! Or recruit 6 of the top 10 and make a run for the NCAA final four!

I am not 100% sure that is all the transfers. I am surprised a couple didn't go. I would think Shaw must wonder how he ended up here by himself.

I am most surprised by XT. He had done so well to start with, and I also am not sure where he would go that is better for him.

Dave's most recent update mentioned another 3 possible transfers.

At this point, is it really fair to call this a "scholarship grid" when it's seems more like a scholarship Post-It note?

Someone I trust early on said the three guys remaining will be Bell, Grier and Jones.

They don't have enough credits to graduate and need 1 more year...

Isn't that obvious?

Morgan isn't going to graduate and Tramique is Canadian...

There you go :D

Did Suggs shrink over night? It said 6'6 in the paper- and he is a shade taller than Coach, who is 6'5

I have to laugh...height means nothing anymore...I've seen Torres at 6'7 and I've seen him at 6'10. Meanwhile, Ruffin is still 5'11 7/8 ;)

Exactly...its not like I go out and measure each guy everytime I update this thing. I've seen numerous places report 6'5" for Suggs and only the pjs report 6'6", but I'll gladly change it if it bothers someone that much. I'm sure everyone will be happy then! No accusations of exaggerated heights....

I visited with Coach Wardle a little bit yesterday afternoon. I'm not certain that he's 6' 5". :)
