I'm afraid this season is OVA. The Hawks have lost five in a row and nine of their last eleven. They cannot score. They outshot the Wild last night 44 - 16 and got blanked 3 -0. And their stars are not getting it done. I think a big part of the problem is Coach Q is constantly changing lines. Their is no continuity. Sigh.

Same ol' same ol'. Outshoot the worst team in the league 38 - 22 but lose 6 - 1. And, of course, Q changed the lines again.

The Hawks snapped their eight game losing streak with a 7 - 1 thumping of the Caps. The bad news is Crow could be done not just for the season but maybe his career.

This kind of thing is inappropriate and the fans were and should have been ejected. However, I would like to point out what I feel is an inconsistency in our society. I am certain that if some fans at an NBA game yelled at a white player that he should try hockey it would not have garnered this kind of attention. It would most likely not even be considered a racist remark by the media. Case in point, Hollywood made a movie called “White Men Can’t Jump” and no one batted an eye. It goes both ways.

Mike Radigan, do you think Seabrook and/or Keith will be dealt as well?

No, but only because Stan will be unable to unload their contracts.

The comparison you are making is nowhere close to the same thing. Never mind the fact that some of the greatest players in NBA history are white.

And the movie you reference was more about racial stereotypes in general, though they obviously focus on basketball for a large majority of the game.

The Hawks laid an egg last night. They were not ready and were completely outplayed in the first period and paid the price.

Berube stops 42 of 43 shots on goal in his Hawks’ debut start. Hawks win 3 to 1.

Traded to Nashville.

Also, Lance Bouma was placed on waivers yesterday morning.

The Hawks were dominated by the Hurricanes last night in a 3 -2 loss. They were outshot 40 -24 with Porter Moser and the Ramblers in the house. It is next to impossible now for Chicago to make the playoffs.

And your Blues may or may not make the playoffs. And they've won how many Stanley Cups?

Trust me, the Blues fan base isn't the only central division much less NHL fan base happy to see the Blackhawks out. And it's not even a case of jealousy. Just the arrogance that some in the Blackhawks fan base have had as a result of their recent success.

Also, I love how every Hawks fans response to Blues fans is how many Stanley Cups they've won. As if that's somehow going to get a rise out of me.
