So if your Bears management would you trade Jordan Howard to the Eagles if you could recoup some of those draft picks?
Might as well trade him of you aren't going to use him based on the scheme they are now running.
I disagree. You're gonna need a player like him to salt close games away late and you're not gonna get that with Cohen or Cunningham. Cohen isn't built for it and Cunningham is nothing more than a 3rd down back anyway. I'd be very surprised if they get rid of him before this season's trade deadline. Now next offseason is another story.

But they aren't even using him in those cases. The Packer game was a perfect example where they kept throwing on 3rd and short. Last week up big and Howard only got 11 carries. Plus their blocking schemes don't appear to be designed for his style as his yards per carry have been poor since week one.

I think against TB was the perfect week to open the playbook up to get Mitch some instant confidence. It doesn't mean they will keep that same game plan through the rest of the season.

Jordan Howard will be used much more throughout this season.

Don’t YPC many times go up when defenses get worn down....????..... if he was getting 18-22 carries i wonder if his average would shoot up a bit. Plus more chances to break a longer run also changing YPC.... ????

Either way i agree with Tombs he’ll see more action especially in cold weather . Mistake to trade unless Eagles got stoopid and offered something crazy.... 2 nd rounder which would be the def of stoopid.
So I was in the airport the other day and I saw AL B., PM me if you want more details.

The Packer game was more about Nagy trying to get too cute late in the game with his playcalling. If the Bears can get their interior blocking to perform better, then we'll see Howard's numbers improve.

Guys YPC doesn’t really go up as the game goes on. That’s just TV guy talking points.

I think Nagy is smart enough to know Howard is a good player and will use him accordingly. I think the Bears are finally in good hands on the sideline.

Bears may be catching a bit of a break as it appears Ryan Tannehill may not start, much less play, due to his shoulder injury. Brock Osweiler would be the Dolphins starter if Tannehill can't go.

Makes no difference who Miami starts, we still have an ineffective Mitch Trubisky. So which one will show up? No one knows. Play calling is just awful against a bad Miami team.

Howard wants to be part of the offense, but can’t even hold onto the ball at the goal line without anyone getting a hand on him. Some things never change.

He did trip over one of his o lineman's feet as he was trying to run in which, while it may not have caused the fumble, certainly didn't help things.

Well not the best of performances in the 1st half and the Bears are lucky to only be down 7-0 at half. Interesting to see what the halftime adjustments will be.

Game totally changed on a ^^ interference call. Meanwhile Dolphin receivers have been blocking while the ball is in the air all day long yet they have not been flagged once. What a joke.
I favor capital punishment. But there are alot of cases where I don't think capital punishment applies (parking violations) and cases where it should be applied (murder, child molestation, illegal HS football recruiting).- BirdWatcher

The tackling on that TD was very poor by the Bears D.

Howard needed an extra yard on a run and got 0 support from his OLine to help push him. Tired or lazy. Pathetic effort either way
