Blues lead 4-3. Crowd is going nuts. Best period of the playoffs for the Blues.

All with Dunn out injured so just 5 defensemen

Blues continuing the physical bloodbath. You can see it taking a toll on the Sharks.

Perron just missed the hat trick

I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen this much jump from Steen

If Schwartz hits the net it’s over. OT is not good news for the Blues considering they have been a man down the whole game

Absolute back breaker. I don’t know how the Blues come back from that loss.

Same old same old in St Louis

Sharks win on a hand pass. The NHL referees are going to win the cup. How many bullsh*t calls are they going to get?

The NHL is making the NFL look like they got great refs

The Sharks were handed game 7 against Vegas. They were given a bullcrap offsides to negate a Colorado game tying goal. And now this trash. At some point it just becomes embarrassing how bad the NHL wants Boston vs Thornton in the Stanley Cup

I'm not one for conspiracy theories but if the Sharks get to the Cup Final, you can't get a much more gift wrapped road to it than what the refs have given them.

If the Blues don’t give up the game tying goal with an empty net in the final minute none of this is a thing.

Well in that case let’s just excuse the blatant horrible call

I’m not. But the playoffs aren’t rigged for San Jose. That’s just ridiculous.

True. As is what Buckeyes said earlier about Schwartz missing the empty netter late in regulation.

Handpass happened right in front of me. Absolutely horrible missed call. 2 hour drive home and I’m still as ****ed as I was leaving the arena. The Blues just can’t seem to put it away with an empty net. They get no push whatsoever when the other team pulls the goalie.

I’m just tired of this happening in every sport and then somebody makes the comment “well if the team would have done this then they wouldn’t have been in position to have that call made”

The fallacy in that is that it makes the presumption that San Jose is just so much worse than the Blues that the Blues should be able to do whatever they want to do whenever they want to do it. San Jose is really good and is going to score goals so when the refs miss blatant calls like that it is too much to recover from

I understand that but I also hate when fans blame team losses solely on officials. A lot of things go into winning and losing a game.

I think this is just the boiling point for me. The Saints got blatantly cheated in the NFL. Auburn got blatantly cheated in NCAA basketball. I didn’t really care much about the teams involved in those except my hatred of the Rams. Now it is happening repeatedly in these NHL playoffs. San Jose was rightfully eliminated in the first round. Who knows what happens if the Colorado tying goal isn’t removed from the board in the second round. San Jose is basically being asked to win 3.5 games per round because the refs are taking care of the other half to get to 4. This whole year in team sports should be known as the year of the asterisk because the wrong teams are being gifted games by blatant ineptitude of the people reffing the game

It would not surprise me to see the Blues win tomorrow night in a 5-1 or 4-0 blowout as they're gonna be coming in as a very angry team given what happened last night.

2-0 Blues on a power play goal. San Jose has been coming on strong at the end of the first

Blues have come out really sloppy to start the 2nd. I really hope they didn’t come out too hot and burned off their energy for the rest of the way
