Coach Q told @WGNRadio this morning that Nick Schmaltz is unlikely to play tonight. He's hopeful for Saturday's tilt with NSH. #Blackhawks

Just dry rid of replay in the NHL. If they can't correct obvious mistakes then it's pointless.

Very bad loss to the Devils tonight as the Hawks blow a 4 - 1 lead to lose 7 - 5.

The Hawks won tonight 7 - 3. They were led by 19 year old Alex DeBrincat with one assist and his first ever hat trick. This was game one of five in seven nights. They travel to Nashville tomorrow to face the Preds. Go Hawks.

The Hawks extended their winning streak to four with a 5 - 1 win against the Jets in Winnipeg. This was the first game Chicago has looked this good since the first two games of the season.

Two goal lead with three minutes left and going to OT. Pathetic.
I favor capital punishment. But there are alot of cases where I don't think capital punishment applies (parking violations) and cases where it should be applied (murder, child molestation, illegal HS football recruiting).- BirdWatcher

Saw a report earlier tonight that Scotty Bowman said that Crawford was suffering from post-concussion symptoms and not vertigo.

The Hawks have not been playing well of late and their record reflects as much. That said, they did look better the last three games although they lost two of them. They did win last night as Alex DeBrincat scored an empty netter to complete a hat trick. He is now on the top line centered by Jonathan Toews with newcomer Andrew Duclair on the other wing. Also Artem Anisimov has returned which puts a big body net front presence. The Hawks do not play again until Tuesday because of the All-Star break when they return to the road. Rumor has it that Crow will make the trip. It's time to make a push or it's wait until nest year.
