And your Blues may or may not make the playoffs. And they've won how many Stanley Cups?
Trust me, the Blues fan base isn't the only central division much less NHL fan base happy to see the Blackhawks out. And it's not even a case of jealousy. Just the arrogance that some in the Blackhawks fan base have had as a result of their recent success.

Also, I love how every Hawks fans response to Blues fans is how many Stanley Cups they've won. As if that's somehow going to get a rise out of me.
You did respond. BTW I’ve been a Hawks’ fan since the fifties when they were really bad.

Now see I'd respect you more as a Hawks fan that you've still supported them since then. The ones I dislike are the ones who didn't really start watching them til they had their recent run of success. They didn't have to sit through some of the bad teams you all had in the early 2000s.

Sports teams are littered with fans that became fans due to the team winning...this is in no way unique to the Blackhawks in any way, shape or form.
So I was in the airport the other day and I saw AL B., PM me if you want more details.

Replace the word Blackhawks w Cardinals a nd you statement applies even more. It cracks me up when Blues fans who are also Cardinal fans accuse the Blackhawk fans of being arrogant and flaunting cup titles. That’s the definition of irony. Not saying Bluejaygrad03 is a Cardinals fan, I have no idea.

Any Blues fan responding in a Hawks specific thread with a flame showing a WWE wrestler thing probably expects a retort about the Blackhawks superior history over the Blues.

Why flame and then come back with it’s not getting a rise from you?

I shouldn’t have to add this, but god forbid I’m found unworthy of supporting the Blackhawks, I’ve been watching the Hawks since the early 70s and the later stages of Stan Mikita’s career.
This is imported Italian nylon and it's a special edition limited silk print and it was done by this really famous design artist.

Because it doesn't get a rise out of me. Like it legitimately doesn't. Though I have to say it's impressive getting eliminated from playoff contention even before the Red Wings.

And I never said you were unworthy of supporting the Blackhawks. If anything I'd value your fandom more since you had to deal with the dollar Bill era.

What a game last night as the Hawks beat the Winnipeg Jets, the 2nd best team in the West 6 - 2. First of all it was Brent Seabrooks' 1000th NHL game, but the big story of the evening was Chicago's goalies. Anton Forsberg was hurt in the warm-ups. Collin Delia was just called up from Rockford and was thrust into his first NHL game as the starting goalie. He played well and stopped 25 of 27 shots on goal, but he too was injured at the 5:59 mark of the 3rd. Enter 36 year old Scott Foster. The NHL has a 3rd goalie available for either team just in case of such a circumstance. Foster's day job is that of an accountant. He plays amateur hockey at Johnny's Ice House in an adult league. He stopped all 7 shots he faced and the crowd let out a roar after every save and was chanting his name as the game concluded. He finished as the first star of the game. He did a couple of lively interviews after the game. Also it was Dylan Sikura's first NHL game as he just completed his college career at Northeastern University. He played on the line with DeBrincat and Ejdsell and contributed two assists and finished a plus 2.

Article on Foster.

One more skate tonight honors Stan Mikita. His three grandsons are representing him. On May 24, 2011, Mikita was diagnosed with oral cancer and would be undergoing external beam radiation therapy. On January 30, 2015, the Chicago Tribune released this statement: “Stan has been diagnosed with suspected Lewy body dementia, a progressive disease, and is currently under the care of compassionate and understanding care givers," In June, it was revealed that due to his illness, he has no memory of his former life and is being cared for by his wife Jill.

Blackhawks come in at #8 in the NHL Draft Lottery. Carolina jumps them in the lottery and along with Montreal and Buffalo have a chance at the #1 pick.

Patrick Kane scored a pair of goals to lead the U.S. over the Czech Republic 3 - 2 in the quarterfinals of the World Championships. They will face the winner of Sweden vs Latvia in the semis on Saturday. Kane leads the tournament in points with 19. The Hawks’ Alex DeBrincat plays on the same line.

Canada won their game against Russia 5 - 4 in OT and will face the winner of Finland vs Switzerland in the other semi.
