Cliff Rozier has died aged 45. Rozier started his collegiate career at UNC, but transferred to Louisville, potentially missing out on the Tar Heels 1993 Championship team. He was eventually drafted in the first round by Golden State as the 16th pick in the 1994 NBA draft.

However, he struggled to survive life as a pro sports star. His best season in the NBA was his rookie season over 66 games. His total career ended after 173 NBA games. He dabbled in Europe and his last recognized hurrah was as a member of the final Quad City Thunder CBA Championship team in 1998.

In later years he suffered from schizophrenizia and an addiction to crack.
