2020 NFL Playoffs

Post by soccerforever »

I have really enjoyed the Bills-Texans game so far. Win or lose I have been impressed with Josh Allen in this game. 16-11 in the 4th quarter.

Can’t believe the 3rd down call by the Bills. They are in field goal range and they know the pressure was coming. Drop back and get killed. It has still been a good game. The line ended up -2.5.

Can't believe the Bills are about to lose this one...quite a comeback by the Texans. Getting two two-point conversions against a good Bills defense is amazing. Watson started slow but was clutch down stretch. Watson is a bit like Russell Wilson in the way he comes back, I believe he has five comeback wins this year, near the top of most.

Well spoke a bit too soon at this time - Bills and Allen show some clutch results themselves as they get tie winning drive in last minute...now overtime. Win or lose, Iike someone said, we are seeing the maturation of Allen as QB. Next year might the year the Bills dethrone Patriots...

It is also nice to have a kicker that doesn’t miss.

How important was is that Texans went for two points twice?

I wasn’t watching live so I didn’t see it till this morning but the opening kick off of the second half was quite the interesting play. Sorry but the rule book says that should have been a Bills TD. No fair catch and no knee. Now the refs are interpreting intent? Should interceptions be over turned now because the quarterback didn’t intend to do that?

I'm actually glad this finally came up. I've thought for at least two years now the relaxed attitude towards kickoff returns is bizarre.

Just put the ball on the 25 and be done. Eliminate kick off period. Instead of onside, give a team the option of 4th and 20 from their own 30.

In other news around the League, the Bills have retroactively been awarded the 1991 Super Bowl win over the Giants because Norwood intended to make his 47 yard field goal. The NFL officiating crew apologize for the mix up saying at the time they didn’t realize Norwood’s true intentions with his miss

I might as well join in. When are they going to enforce delay of game? I seems like every game they just let it go. Yesterday on the 3rd and 17 play that the Bills defended horribly, the clock was at zero for at least a second.

Refs say that there will always be an extra second because they have to see 0 on the clock; then, they look to see if the ball has been snapped. But, it sure seems like I've seen instances of several seconds this season unless the TV playclock doesn't always match up with the stadium one?

Is this reviewable? I don’t know why it wouldn’t be but I have never seen it challenged before

Brees needs to retire. He is horribly inaccurate at this point in his career and no longer seems comfortable in the pocket when there is the slightest bit of any pressure

A guy who this season nearly broke his own NFL record for single season completion percentage is horribly inaccurate???

They throw a bunch of 5-10 yard routes that more or less guarantee a high completion percentage. Anytime he throws down the field the receivers are making huge adjustments to make the catch. He rarely throws a pass over 15 yards that hits a receiver in stride.

UGH! OT. Really do not want the Pack to play the Saints next week. My guess would be that they would be a home dog.

Touchdown and the Vikings will play the 49ers and the Pack will play the winner of the Eagles-Seahawks game.
