Beginning with the football playoff pairings show this October, the IHSA State Championship Network will debut. In the Peoria area, the games will air on WEEK. In the Springfield area, they will air on WCIX.

Won’t this hurt b-ball attendance even more at state?

Would think so. Maybe they don’t care because they get a cut of the sponsorship money and that would be more than gate money?

Thank Goodness!

Hopefully they will replace the commentators.

Unfortunately, if Quincy Media, who now owns WEEK, is involved in this new statewide network, I'm sure we will still be hearing Lee Hall on the PBP.

With Quincy Media (WEEK's owners) part of this new state tournament network, unless it's still early does anyone know which one of the WEEK stations (25.1 NBC, 25.2 ABC, 25.3 CW, and the new 25.4 Ion) will carry the tournament?

The IHSA has done the impossible. They've even made commercials more annoying.
