I actually loved the kickoff game. I think it's a great way to keep the kickoff in the game--I think the NFL wants to just get rid of it--and makes it safer at the same time. Now, given how far most NFL kickers kick the ball, maybe it wouldn't matter but I liked the idea.
Not that I know of...

I’ve found the games very entertaining. There were some sloppy moments in the first game but I was never bored watching.

The play was pretty good.

The kickoffs might find there way into the NFL

Games today have been significantly sloppier than yesterday

Shocking for a Trestman coached team.

St Louis runs the ball better than any of the other teams by far. Dallas is really hurt by not having Landry Jones

As a Steelers fan, I can tell you that Jones will not be a huge difference maker. He will be able to throw the ball further than the guy they had yesterday, but accuracy and decision making are not high on Jones' skill set.

I watched parts of all four games, probably watched the St. Louis game the most. Overall, better than I expected, certainly better than the AAF. Love the kickoff idea! Like the point after rules. Play clock makes the action flow better. Don't like the two minute rules.

I saw a good point. The success is likely going to be determined more in March when they have to compete with March Madness and the Masters

I was 50/50 last weekend but the games were pretty good! Especially Saturday's games. This week I'm thinking of putting some money down on the Guardians after watching them do well last week. I was checking out the picks here https://www.bonusseeker.com/news/new-je ... eek-2-2020 and considering how much of an underdog they are, I want in haha

DC looks really good. They have a really solid defense. Would have scored more points in the first half but the receivers dropped a couple of long passes.

If this league doesn’t get better quarterback play, it’s in trouble.

Cardale, PJ Walker, and Ta’amu have played very well both weeks to this point. Landry Jones played well in the second half today.

The Houston and Tampa game has been highly entertaining today. Offenses really seem to be hitting their stride after no preseason

The lack of a preseason factored in to some early sloppiness I think. I am really curious to see the crowd in St Louis tomorrow. They sold out the bottom of the dome. Should be a great environment with at least one sign mocking Kroenke

Officiating has been pathetic this weekend. Houston kneeled with 2 seconds left on 4th down at their own 15. The refs just ended the game instead of giving Seattle the chance to tie the game. Horrible work in the replay booth in the Dallas game.

The St Louis playing calling was equally as pathetic. Might as well have held up a sign announcing to DC the coming play

QB play is still spotty. Might need to go after CFL players or something moving forward. It does show how hard the QB position is to play.

Ratings for the first four weeks of the XFL

Week 1 - 3.12 million
Week 2 - 2.05 million
Week 3 - 1.61 million
Week 4 - 1.38 million

Those numbers (even week 4) are actually not that bad when compared with other weekend sports programming. Will the numbers continue to slide downward or stabilize? It also will be interesting to what effect the upcoming the men's and women's NCAA tournaments will have on the XFL TV numbers and attendance. Of course warmer weather might help some with the attendance.
