I mean...it wouldn't be the worst idea:
Agreed, if he wants to do it and they can close the deal. Slam dunk. If Bruce enjoys the area, then it makes sense. But that job - In fairness, I get that they are desperately trying to shake that reputation - there are better things to do in KC.

They just paid their new WBB coach close to 300k which is a ton in that world. They seem to be putting their money behind improving athletics.

Might be a smart play if they're trying to stay relevant in the eyes of the Missouri Valley Conference.
One coaching change from earlier this week that hasn't been mentioned yet...
Weber State head coach Randy Rahe retired after 16 seasons at the helm. His longtime assistant coach Eric Duft has been named the new head coach.
Rahe was a 5 time regular season and 3 time tournament champion in the Big Sky and the winningest coach in Weber State basketball history. He was also the Big Sky coach of the year 4 times. His Wildcat teams made 3 NCAA tournament appearances, most recently in 2016 when they lost in the first round to Xavier in St. Louis. He also coached future NBA All-Star Damian Lillard during Lillard's time in Ogden.
LIU relieves Derek Kellogg of his duties and has hired Rod Strickland as it's head men's basketball coach.
While Kellogg was only .500 overall and 8-over in league, in his 5 year tenure, he had 1 NCAA appearance and just one losing season (15-18 in 2019-20) and the team coming off their best league finish (3rd).
